An amusing loop tour which, besides offering a breathtaking view over the valley, allows you to retrace a stretch of the Via Imperiale Claudia Augusta in its final part. From the centre of Lamon climb up towards Prati Scheid along the road that leads to Le Ei. The itinerary climbs up to Ristorante Al Tajol (1260 m. a.s.l.) and then descends along Col di Cee. Once past San Donato, the route resumes the ancient route of the Roman road, in the area of the necropolis and adjacent to the area of the caves of San Donato. You then descend towards Costa, Rugna and from here, after crossing the Roman bridge, you return to Lamon.
