The 14.6 km route (altitude difference uphill 1250 m and downhill 376 m) is strongly hiking and needs some attention. It is a very pleasant route and of great interest for the landscapes it offers, the uncontaminated naturalness of the environments crossed and the anthropic elements still present.
In ancient times the route was a mule track that led to the nearby Vanoi and Primiero Valleys. From Furianoi the path winds at constant altitude above the Cismon Valley, which covers the eastern side of Mount Coppolo. Go beyond the rocks and beech woods, you are in Pugnai: a fascinating village, once populated and alive and now the woods are taking over again. Just beyond the houses the path forks; taking the right you can make a quick detour from the main route, taking you near the Val Rosna, known for the archaeological finds of prehistoric times found there. Continuing on the left at the junction of Pugnai, the path leads to Bellotti. From here you climb up to the Croset shelter (1200 m a.s.l.); after a stretch of rough road you reach the Leib shelter and a little further on you join the CAI n. 822 - called Gramolir path -, at the end of which you have to pay attention to take the path that will take you to Le Ei.
Here, if you wish, you can take path n. 7 and return to Furianoi with an additional path of about 3 km, downhill.
