The small village, 2.5 km from Pugnai, is located along the path that leads from Lamon to Canal San Bovo, on the eastern side of Mount Coppolo.
Once populated by numerous families, since the fifties it has slowly depopulated. The last inhabitant of the hamlet was Maria Bellotto, born in 1900, who lived here until she was ninety-two years old, growing potatoes and beans and keeping the village alive.
In the Eighties, probably also due to her example, Bellotti slowly started to return to life. Paths, walls and houses that time and neglect were eroding, were restored and gradually brought back to life.
Today the village with its church is a living proof of the deep bond between the people of Lamon and their land.
