This small village, at 700 meters above sea level on the eastern slopes of Mount Coppolo and along the path from Lamon to Canal San Bovo, is the ideal destination for those who want to enjoy the charm of the ancient mountain villages.
The ten or so houses with the characteristic wooden hillocks that make it up are close to a small chapel with a bell tower dedicated to the Madonna.
Today uninhabited, Pugnai was once a lively village, as evidenced by the ruins still recognizable such as the washhouse, the fountain and the old school.
All around you can still perceive the signs of a territory once marked by meadows and terraced areas once patiently cultivated and that now nature is regaining.
