The people of Lamon have expressed their faith over time also through the construction of churches, chapels and altars whose presence characterizes even the smallest villages.
The oldest of all is certainly the parish church of San Pietro, built on the hill of the same name in the village of Lamon and rebuilt between the 16th and 17th centuries perhaps on the remains of the primitive mother church. Grown by successive juxtapositions, the church preserves frescoes dated between 1560 and 1570 and attributed to Marco Da Mel. Of 1571 the altarpiece by Pietro Marescalchi depicting the Madonna enthroned between Saints Peter and Paul.
At the beginning of the seventeenth century, a period to which the side paintings of St. Peter also date back, the Community considered it necessary to have a new church, larger and more easily accessible especially during the harsh winters. At the foot of the hill, on a pre-existing chapel, the large church of San Daniele was therefore built. Deconsecrated in 1959, with the recent restoration it became the seat of cultural activities. The artistic heritage recovered from it has found its place inside the new church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
